Meal Program
Hot Meals During Construction
Our meal service for the community will continue every day during construction. Look for the CAC van in the parking lot on Poplar Street (between 4th and 5th streets) and receive your hot meal to-go at the usual times.
7:30-8:00 am - Breakfast
5:30-6:00 pm - Dinner

Hope starts with a meal
-
Every day of the year, we provide two freshly-cooked meals to our shelter guests and anyone in the community who is hungry, no questions asked. We serve an average of 130 meals a day—that’s more than 47,000 meals a year.

Served with love
Our meal program is powered by the many volunteers representing churches, businesses, organizations, families and friends, who donate their time to cook and serve our guests.

Provided by our community
- We receive generous gifts of food from local grocery stores, bakeries, schools, restaurants, farms and individuals. Any food not used for meals is given away to people in need.
Are You in Need of Food?
If you or your loved ones are in need of food, you are welcome to join us for a meal in our community dining room--open every day of the year. We serve two hot, nutritious meals every day; breakfast at 7:30 am and dinner at 5:30 pm.
We also give food away every day during meal times.
Our community dining room is located on 4th Street, between Poplar and W Birch Streets. Address: 202 W. Birch Street, Walla Walla.

Would You Like to Help?
You can partner with us in providing meals for our neighbors in need by donating food, or even volunteering your time.
"Coming in off the streets to have a meal at the Christian Aid Center was the highlight of my day. I knew that for that one hour I was safe, and would be fed by people with smiles on their faces who cared."
